Summary of the work carried out by the Team led by Dariusz PROSTAŃSKI, Director of KOMAG Institute in the area of: “Technical hazards in the field of energomechanics” established by WUG in order to carry out an analysis aimed at specifying research topics whose implementation – within the framework of the new strategic programme launched by the National Centre for Research and Development: “Improving Occupational Safety in Mining 2030″ – will contribute to increasing work safety in mining.

The aim of the panel is to discuss a timeline of actions that should be taken by local governments and entrepreneurs in order to systemically restore urban ecosystems as a means to preserve the GREEN SILESIA paradigm. Topics to be discussed will include:

  • – Comprehensive identification of the natural inanimate and animate resources of Silesia,
  • – Ways to inventorise the region’s inanimate and animate resources,
  • – Monitoring the dynamic processes of transition of the flora and fauna ecosystems, hydrogeology and biosphere of the Region,
  •  Integration of databases on the distribution and abundance of Silesia’s inanimate and animate natural resources.

Głównym zadaniem toczonych dyskusji jest integracja środowiska naukowego, samorządowego i przedsiębiorców wokół wyzwań cywilizacyjnych Regionu w którym zwały skały płonnej jako odpady przemysłu wydobywczego od ponad stu lat są stałym elementem krajobrazu Śląska.
